Unlike other photographers in the Ottawa region, I don't make my bread and butter by selling expensive prints or packages. I like to charge my clients a reasonable rate for a photo session and provide them with a photo cd. You can then turn around, and get prints made wherever you like.

The photo session (family, portraiture, couple) and all high resolution files on dvd are $200.00. A session for a newborn is $300.00. The fee assumes that the session will be held in your home or in my home studio or outside. The one desired location must be near central Ottawa. If not, then I charge an additional fee to compensate for gas and time traveling. The session fee includes talking/brainstorming with you a week before or so, me setting up (I need approx. half hour or less), preparation, shooting the photos, time traveling from session, loading images onto a computer, backing up the files on an external drive, editing (basic enhancements) and making 4 to 5 black & white photos of the best pics, burning a dvd and giving it to you.

The session fee mentioned above is priced for a family or up to 5 people. For each additional person add $25. Session last approx. 1.5 hours if more time is needed than I charge $50.00 per half hour extra. Prices do not include HST. Payment due at session. Payment may be made by cheque or cash. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Oh, and by the way, I love photo editing. If you want some photo enhancements done like removing imperfections, then let me know because I would love to help. p.s. I have mastered photoshop since 1993!
